My name is Kim. I am 35 years old and have three children aged 16, 12, and 1 years old. After having my first child really young and gaining a lot of weight then losing it, then having my second and going up to 18 stone then getting down to 10 stone training and dieting hard.
I always hated my legs, they never looked how I wanted them to look, and always big around my knees, then 12 years later I tried for my 3rd child and gained 7 stone. A year after having him, I just really struggled to shift my weight, no matter how hard I dieted or trained, walking 4 miles every morning before work, and going to the gym. I just couldn’t shift my last 2 stone. I would just stay the same every week in my Weight Watcher’s class. It would devastate me because I was doing everything by the book. Then, one night watching “Embarrassing Bodies” on TV, I watched Dr Gupta do an operation on a girl’s legs and thought: I want that done!
I researched Dr Gupta, got in touch with him, had a consultation and he showed me some off his work, I was so nervous and embarrassed by my legs but he was lovely. I just felt so comfortable and he went through everything from start to finish. He was realistic with me, he told me to go home, have a think about it and get back to him if I wanted it done. I knew straight away I wanted to go through with it.
I paid a small deposit, booked my date and paid my balance 20 days before my op. When the day arrived, I sorted the kids and got on my train. When I arrived at the clinic the staff was amazing and Dr Gupta sat with me, talked me through everything once again, gave me something to relax and sat and talked to me like I was a friend. He was lovely.
I can honestly say I didn’t feel a thing. I even slept, the girls were lovely also gabbing away during the operation. I felt a bit sore as the night went on and the next few days, but the results were amazing. I felt like I’d won the lottery, and still had to go back for a second op after 6 weeks. Each day just got better. I did need to take 2 weeks off work due to me standing all day on my legs. 6 weeks later I went back to have my second op. I just felt a bit more sore than last time, and also needed 2 weeks off. This time it took me a bit longer to recover than last time but worth every bit of pain.
My legs seemed to swell up before they went down but now each day my legs are slimmer and I am back training, losing weight every week and sticking to my diet.
I feel great, everybody comments on how good I look and I feel good in my clothes. I’ve dropped 2 dress sizes, but funnily enough, I have not lost much weight, just inches.
I would recommend this to anybody and Dr Gupta is a perfectionist, I went back and saw my before and after pics and I was shocked at the difference and it’s only been 6 weeks after my second op.
Once again Dr Gupta was lovely and happy to see how confident I was in my skinny jeans. I am delighted with my legs!!!
